I am back...and I have a show tonight!  Anyway, my trip was great.  Pats was fabulous in Gypsy.  Her "Rose's Turn" was so powerful that I had tears in my eyes.  Laura and Boyd were wonderful as well.  It was one of the best experiences in the theatre I have ever had.

So, Opening Night went better than expected.  Not perfect, but at least we had a show.  People told me I did very well and that made me pleased.  Also one of my friends called me to wish me good luck even though she was not coming last night.  And she told me to call her after to tell her how it went.  I was so touched by that.  The only major ( Read more... )

Opening Night for "The Sound of Music" tonight.  I am scared beyond all belief.  I don't think we are ready at all.  I mean we will be okay, but nothing like what "Into the Woods" was.  Cross your fingers for me dolls.

I watched "Death of a Salesman" last night.  The version with Dustin Hoffman.  I love that man.  He is my favorite screen actor.  ( Read more... )

DOLLS!!!!!!!!

Okay...so I called at 9AM my time for the Gypsy tickets.  I actually got a person and asked her for tickets.  She told me I had to wait four minutes because they did not access to it until noon.  When I hung up they went on sale online, but I was only able to get tickets for July 9th (first night of previews).  So I was looking at ( Read more... )

I AM GOING TO THIS!  Most of you probably already knew about that, but I am so excited!  I told my dad that we were going.  Originally we were going to go to NY in June, but now, we're not.  End of story.  I cannot really tell you how thrilled I am that I get to see her in this.  Anyway, moving on...
